Songwriter Festival Tin Pan South Announces Lineup - Nashville
More than 200 Nashville music industry players crowded into The Rutledge on Tuesday to find out when and where Nashville Songwriters Association International would host its 16th annual Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival.
The answer: April 1-5 in nine area venues, from bluegrass haunt The Station Inn to rock spot the Mercy Lounge.

And this year the lineup of 350-plus top songwriters may be Tin Pan South’s most eclectic yet. While NSAI is finalizing its schedule for the event, names already announced include: country singers Josh Turner, Vince Gill and Rodney Crowell; rock artists Kip Winger, Mike Farris of the Screamin’ Cheetah Wheelies and Jeremy Lister; Christian artists Steven Curtis Chapman, Ashley Cleveland and Geoff Moore; and heavy-hitting songwriters James Dean Hicks, Skip Ewing and Jeffrey Steele.
